Some in the past (and maybe even the present in some countries? I wouldn’t be surprised) even lost their lives with no hope of eternal reward. 
Just about the roughest I’ve had it though is being a target of debate and struggling to find common ground with people here. Also misunderstandings and psychological trauma at home. Lots of people interested in having lunch or dinner with me though (aka witness to me or whatever :P).
I’m fortunate though to still have a few loyal friends, parents who love me pretty much unconditionally, a job, and an education.
